French Broad Chocolate Lounge

I've turned into a chocolate snob. They Bay Area gave me access to tons of high quality chocolate to work with and to eat. SW Virginia, well, not so much. Just over the mountains lies Asheville, where chocolate is good again. This lounge would be a great place to wallow in chocolate, except we visited on Valentine's Day. No room to lounge.

The French lavender truffle is heavy on the lavender on the first bite, but the honey smooths out the floral aspects quickly. The maple isn't my typical preference, but I wanted to try something new. The little notes of salt make that truffle great.

The coffee is ok, but not great. And seeing "local bottled water" on the menu makes me angry. Otherwise, a very good place.
