Finally tried Varasano's. I'm not sure if it was the time of day & week, but the staff was great. Our server was very friendly… Heck, everyone was very friendly. We had our choice of seats, and everything was delivered right away. They had run out of many beers, but that's not too surprising on a holiday weekend that has seen *many* places run out of supplies.

The fresh salumi pizza is fantastic. Olives provide a neat salty undertone. I often hate olives, but these were a perfect accent to the meat. Nana's pizza is good. Not jaw-dropping, but quite good. I didn't upgrade to mozzarella di bufala; that would make a huge difference.
